Nigeria’s federal government has charged 464 newly inducted foreign-trained medical laboratory scientists to uphold professionalism, integrity, and precision, resisting malpractice and quackery. Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Iziaq Salako, delivered the message at the MLSCN’s 12th Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony in Abuja, emphasizing the sacred trust patients place in them.
Acting MLSCN Registrar Donald Ofili reiterated the council’s commitment to excellence and combating quackery, noting the graduates’ readiness to contribute to the health sector after their adaptation program. Graduates Hassan Bilkisu and Okoro Chidimma pledged accuracy and reliable services, ensuring competitive laboratory outcomes.
