The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has successfully returned N96.5 million to victims of a ponzi scheme in Enugu State. This restitution follows a thorough investigation into fraudulent activities.
The scheme, operated by Oyubu Akpojewve of Leverage Index Limited, defrauded investors through false promises. EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede affirmed the agency’s dedication to combating financial crimes and ensuring victims recover lost assets.
