EFCC returns N802m recovered from fraud suspect, Ojo Eghosa Kingsley, to First Bank, following a system glitch that erroneously credited the sum of N1.3 billion belonging to the bank to the suspect’s account.
After the matter was reported by the bank to the EFCC, the commission began its investigation and discovered that the suspect, Ojo Eghosa Kingsley, upon receipt of the money, transferred a good part of it to the bank accounts of his mother, Itohan Ojo, and his sister, Edith Okoro Osaretin, and committed part of the money to the completion of his building project and the funding of a new flamboyant lifestyle.
