The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has asserted that internet fraudsters, known as ‘Yahoo Boys,’ are causing greater economic devastation in Nigeria than corrupt politicians.
EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale stated this while addressing concerns about the commission’s focus, emphasizing that all financial crimes, including internet and procurement fraud, tear at the nation’s fabric. He affirmed the EFCC’s commitment to relentlessly pursuing all perpetrators to safeguard Nigeria’s economy and reputation.
