“Seyi, tell your papa country hard. Tell your papa people dey die. Tell your papa this one don pass jagajaga,” he said in the track.

Veteran rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has released a hard-hitting track titled “Tell Your Papa”, directly addressing Seyi Tinubu about Nigeria’s economic crisis. The 51-year-old artist accused the president’s son of insensitivity, singing: “Seyi, tell your papa country hard… people dey die”.

The April 6 release responds to Seyi’s recent praise of his father as “Nigeria’s greatest president” amid widespread hardship. Abdulkareem challenged Seyi to “travel by road without security” to understand citizens’ struggles.

Known for his 2004 hit “Jaga Jaga” which criticized the Obasanjo administration, the rapper continues his tradition of political commentary through music, highlighting rising insecurity and poverty under the current government.
