Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholor has pledged to resign if President Bola Tinubu does not win the 2027 presidential election in Edo State, insisting there is “no opposition” and widespread support for the APC.

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholor has expressed unshakable confidence that President Bola Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election in Edo, vowing to resign if the results do not favor the president in the state.

Speaking in an interview captured on video, he said, “There is no opposition here in Edo everybody is for Asiwaju in this state. Tinubu is more popular than me in Edo state. If he doesn’t win the presidential election in Edo in 2027, I will resign.”

Okpebholor cited projects implemented by his administration under the All Progressives Congress (APC) as evidence of the ruling party’s dominance and the strong support for Tinubu ahead of the elections.
