The Edo State Government has begun demolishing properties linked to cultism in Uromi, Esan North-East Local Government Area. This initiative aims to combat kidnapping, cultism, and other criminal activities across the state.
The demolitions follow a November 17 security raid where 31 suspects were arrested and cult leaders received an ultimatum. With non-compliance, structures with incriminating evidence were removed.
