Renowned Nigerian gospel singer, Dunsin Oyekan, has announced the release of his first single of the year titled “AMEN,” featuring the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.
According to the artiste, the song will be available on all digital streaming platforms worldwide by midnight, while the official music video is scheduled for release by 6pm on Thursday.
Sharing details of the collaboration on social media, Oyekan recounted a lighthearted moment during the recording session with the respected cleric, noting that Pastor Adeboye humbly asked if his contribution was good enough. “I remember Daddy asking me if what he did on the song was good enough. I told him, ‘Daddy, even if you coughed in it, it’s a blessing already,’” Oyekan wrote.
The collaboration has generated excitement among gospel music enthusiasts, blending Oyekan’s contemporary worship sound with the spiritual influence of one of Nigeria’s most revered Christian leaders.
