Deutsche Bank has shown interest in funding the replacement of Lagos’ Carter Bridge and the rehabilitation of the Third Mainland Bridge. A delegation met with Works Minister David Umahi in Abuja to discuss the partnership and attracting private infrastructure capital.
The bank also reaffirmed its commitment to the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. Umahi stated the Carter Bridge needs a full replacement, while the Third Mainland Bridge requires significant underwater repairs to guarantee its long-term structural integrity and safety.
