The father of late Afrobeat singer Afeez Adeshina, popularly known as Destiny Boy, has appealed to the public for help over the disappearance of his son’s SUV, days after the 22-year-old artiste’s death, alleging in a now-viral video that the vehicle was returned to the dealership, Lycon Autos, shortly after his son passed away but has not been seen since, as he explained that he accompanied Destiny Boy to purchase the SUV and that the dealership provided a driver to deliver it home, adding that the singer later retained the driver for personal use until issues arose when the driver claimed he was owed and took the vehicle back to the dealership without informing the family, saying, “Nigerians, please help me. My son has a car, and the car is with Lycon Autos… The driver said Destiny was owing him, so he took the car back to where we bought it from. I don’t even have the driver’s number. If the car were here, I would have gone to pick it up,” as the family continues to mourn the singer, whose mother has disclosed that he battled a long-term mysterious illness that caused seizures before his death.
