Couple found blood-spotted glove, rock with blood on it in desert mile from Nancy Guthrie’s home

Authorities are investigating blood-stained gloves and a rock found near the Tucson home of missing Nancy Guthrie as the search for her continues.

An Arizona couple reportedly discovered a pair of blood-stained gloves and a rock marked with what appeared to be dried blood in a desert area roughly a mile from the home of missing 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, prompting authorities to examine the items as part of the ongoing investigation into her disappearance. The couple, who said the glove “appeared to have looked like it was ripped” and “looked like it had blood on it,” alerted law enforcement after finding the items near Campbell Avenue in the Catalina Foothills of Tucson. Investigators collected multiple gloves from the area, though officials said they could not confirm whether the newly discovered items were among those being analysed, adding that “analysis is part of the investigation” as detectives continue searching for the missing woman, the mother of Savannah Guthrie. Authorities have not identified any suspects, and DNA recovered so far has not matched existing records.
