Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle book Champions League places for next season

Chelsea, Manchester City, and Newcastle United have secured places in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League following the final day of the Premier League season.

Chelsea edged Nottingham Forest 1-0 through Levi Colwill’s 50th-minute goal, while Manchester City beat Fulham 2-0 at Craven Cottage with goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Erling Haaland.

Despite a 1-0 home loss to Everton—Carlos Alvarez scoring in the 65th minute—Newcastle clinched qualification thanks to other results going their way.

Aston Villa missed out after a 2-0 defeat at Manchester United. Emiliano Martinez was sent off before half-time, and United scored through Amad Diallo and Christian Eriksen.

Elsewhere, Tottenham lost 4-1 to Brighton, Arsenal beat Southampton 2-1, and Wolves drew 1-1 with Brentford. Liverpool and Crystal Palace played 1-1, while Ipswich lost 3-1 to West Ham.

Liverpool topped the table with 84 points, while Spurs qualified via their Europa League final win.
