PDP’s Fola Sunday Oyekunle edges out APC’s Adewale Haastrup Olatunji at a key polling unit in Ibadan North Federal Constituency by-election, securing nine votes to Olatunji’s six.
In today’s Ibadan North Federal Constituency by-election, APC candidate Adewale Haastrup Olatunji lost his polling unit to PDP’s Fola Sunday Oyekunle. Olatunji voted at Unit 27, Ward 10, this morning.
According to our correspondent, results were declared a few hours later, with Oyekunle scoring nine votes, Olatunji six, and Labour Party two. Of the 248 registered voters at the unit, only 17 participated.
The result highlights low voter turnout and a narrow margin between the leading parties at the grassroots level. Election officials confirmed the tally at the polling unit without incident.
