Bishop Matthew Kukah, Catholic Archbishop of Sokoto, expressed strong confidence in General Christopher Musa (retd) as Nigeria’s Minister of Defence. Speaking after Musa’s swearing-in in Abuja, Kukah stated, “With Musa, Nigeria’s security is in good hands.”
He believes President Bola Tinubu’s administration is set to reposition national security and restore calm. Bishop Kukah also attended as a representative of the Sultan of Sokoto, highlighting the clear challenge of restoring normalcy.
