Bayern Munich’s Tom Bischof is reportedly dating Josefine Scholl, daughter of club legend Mehmet Scholl, while settling into life at the German champions.
Bayern Munich’s summer signing Tom Bischof is reportedly in a relationship with Josefine Scholl, the 17-year-old daughter of club icon Mehmet Scholl.
Bischof, 20, joined the Bundesliga champions this year from Hoffenheim on a pre-contract deal. According to German outlet BILD, the couple has been dating for nearly four months and were recently spotted kissing after Bayern’s 4-0 friendly win over Tottenham Hotspur. Josefine, an influencer with almost 40,000 Instagram followers, also attended Bischof’s Super Cup debut against VfB Stuttgart last weekend.
Mehmet Scholl, who played 469 games and scored 117 goals for Bayern before retiring in 2007, remains one of the club’s most celebrated midfielders. His daughter’s relationship with Bischof has drawn attention as the young star aims to establish himself in a crowded midfield.
Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund praised the signing, saying: “Tom is one of Germany’s best young players… He has all it takes to establish himself at the highest level.”
