Fuji legend Adewale Ayuba has debunked viral claims linking him to divorce and paternity controversy, describing the report as false and announcing legal action against its publishers.
Fuji music icon Adewale Ayuba has dismissed viral reports alleging he conducted a secret DNA test that exposed infidelity in his marriage. A YouTube channel, Nigerian News, had claimed the singer divorced his wife, Azuka Ego, after purportedly discovering she bore a child that was not his.
In a strongly worded statement issued by his management and shared on Instagram, Ayuba denounced the story as “malicious” and “fabricated”. “There is absolutely no truth–not a single iota in this cooked up story,” the statement read.
Ayuba added that he and his wife have been happily married for over three decades and “there has never been any question about the paternity of our children”.
Vowing to defend his integrity, he confirmed his legal team has been briefed to take action against the blogger. He described the rumors as a cheap attempt to embarrass his family and destabilise his marriage.
