Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard has agreed to a new contract adjustment that secures him a significant salary increase, though the deal still runs until 2027.
The 30-year-old Belgian, who joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 for £27 million, had been in talks with the club throughout the summer over a revised wage package to reflect his growing importance in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
After weeks of negotiations, both parties reached an agreement this week. However, no developments suggest a transfer exit for Trossard in the current window.
Since arriving, Trossard has scored 28 goals and provided 23 assists in 124 games, featuring across the frontline and in midfield. He missed Arsenal’s season opener against Manchester United after sustaining a groin injury in pre-season but remains a valued squad option.
Arsenal face Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
