Governor Abdullahi Sule says APC governors are not alarmed by the impeachment move against Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara, insisting the matter is being handled through due process in court.
Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has said APC governors are not worried about the impeachment move against Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, describing it as a matter before the courts. Speaking on Politics Today, Sule said impeachment must follow due process and cannot be done arbitrarily.
“I’m not worried because I think it’s an issue of the court,” Sule said, adding, “You don’t just wake up and impeach somebody without going through the due process.” He noted that courts and the Rivers Chief Judge were already taking positions, stressing that internal APC issues in Rivers remain party affairs.
