The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied claims linking notorious terrorist leader Mohammed Bello Turji to the ruling party, describing a viral membership slip circulating on social media as fake and misleading. The party said the document falsely claims Turji was registered during its Electronic Registration and Validation Exercise.
In a statement by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, the APC said details on the slip do not match its database, noting it referenced a nonexistent “Ward 13” in Shinkafi LGA, Zamfara State. He described the document as a “vile fabrication” by mischief makers and urged the public to disregard it.
