Actress Annie Idibia posted a series of cryptic Instagram messages hours after a video surfaced showing her estranged husband, music star 2Baba, involved in a public confrontation in London that ended with policemen leading him away.
Shortly after the clip spread online, Annie wrote, “Sometimes, trying to prove that you are the best is an insult,” and shared an illustration of matchsticks captioned “The power of stepping away.”
Her posts followed 2Baba’s brief appearance on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live, during which former associates Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan accused the singer’s wife, Natasha Osawaru, of exerting undue influence over his personal and professional life. Viewers later saw a scuffle in the background of the livestream, with Natasha seemingly restraining him.
The episode has renewed public interest in 2Baba’s turbulent relationships, months after he confirmed his separation from Annie and married Osawaru.
