The State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, recently apprehended several kidnap suspects in Ondo State. Commander Adetunji Adeleye reported the arrests, made under ‘Operation Le Won Jade,’ at the corps’ headquarters in Akure.
Operatives responded to a distress call in a forested area, engaging suspects in a three-hour gun battle. Four passengers were rescued, though the bus driver was killed. One female victim, shot by attackers, was stabilized by the corps.
