Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno has approved over N1.6 billion to provide a N50,000 transport allowance to each of the 33,461 applicants who took a recent Computer-Based Test for civil service recruitment.
Following the test, 12,000 successful candidates will proceed to interviews, with 4,000 expected to be hired by March. Unsuccessful applicants will be enrolled in the Dakkada Skills Acquisition Programme for further training.
