Dr. Sarafa Agbogun, a former bursar, praised the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology for what he called a historic academic advancement. Eighteen staff members earned PhDs between 2024 and 2025.
The achievement is credited to the leadership of Rector Prof. Akinola Akinlabi. Agbogun noted the progress positions the polytechnic as a potential university, with support from TETFund also being instrumental in this growth.
