Controversial singer Portable has set his sights on former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua following his victory over Speed Darlington in their celebrity boxing match. The “Zazuu” crooner, who won by technical knockout after Darlington suffered a shoulder injury, boasted, “Now that I’ve beaten Speed Darlington, it is only Anthony Joshua I can fight now.” Portable also revealed receiving N20 million from Burna Boy, whom he hopes to collaborate with musically.
Darlington, however, demanded a rematch, alleging Portable used supernatural powers and claiming tribal bias by organizers. “It breaks my heart you are carrying that money… I have not entered ring before,” he lamented on Instagram. The American-based artist insisted the fight was unfair, though the stoppage resulted from his injury rather than judges’ scores.
