Adeleke: Babymama alleges threats, demands protection

Ayo Labinjoh, who claims to be the mother of one of Davido’s children, has accused the singer’s father, billionaire businessman Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, of intimidation following his public dismissal of her paternity claims. Dr. Adeleke, speaking at a press conference in Lagos on Wednesday, said Davido is not the father of Labinjoh’s daughter, Anu, adding that five separate DNA tests had allegedly been conducted and all returned negative results.

In a strongly worded response posted hours later on her daughter’s Instagram page, Labinjoh said she would not be silenced, alleging that Dr. Adeleke was using his influence and wealth to suppress her claims. She insisted that the matter was strictly between her and Davido, arguing that his father had no right to speak on his behalf. Labinjoh also appealed to the Nigerian police and the public to hold Dr. Adeleke responsible should anything happen to her or her daughter, citing concerns for their safety.

Labinjoh further alleged that her estranged sister, Titi Labinjoh, had been in contact with Dr. Adeleke since 2020 and had been “collecting money” from people she described as her oppressors, a claim for which she provided no evidence. She also claimed that she was poisoned while studying at Adeleke University, an incident she said forced her to abandon her education. None of the allegations have been independently verified, and neither Dr. Adeleke nor Davido has publicly responded to the latest claims.
