ActionAid has called for increased commitment from governments, civil society, the private sector, and community leaders to prevent and address all forms of gender-based violence. Andrew Mamedu, ActionAid Nigeria’s country director, made this appeal during a dialogue on technology-facilitated GBV in Abuja.
The Development Partners Group on Gender organized the dialogue for the 2025 16 Days of Activism. Niri Goyit defined TF-GBV as violence via digital means, citing statistics that 16-58% of women globally face it, and 45% experience cyberstalking.
