Singer 2Face Idibia’s family has petitioned the Inspector General of Police, accusing his wife, Natasha Osawuru, of financial misappropriation, assault, bigamy, substance abuse and threats to life. According to the petition dated November 12, the family alleged she transferred funds from the singer’s accounts without permission, withheld his passport, and caused him emotional distress and reputational damage. They also urged police to probe alleged violations of marriage laws, saying “Substance abuse by Miss Natasha Irobasa Osawaru allegedly resulting in violent behavior” had put his safety at risk.
The petition surfaced after the singer’s ex-managers accused Natasha of seeking “full control” of his finances during an Instagram livestream that ended abruptly following a physical altercation involving 2Face. His younger brother later urged him online to “allow us to save you.” The controversy led the Edo State House of Assembly to summon Natasha, who represents Egor constituency, over her conduct.
