Over 250 individuals with disabilities in Ogun State have received a N200,000 business grant as part of the 2025 World Disability Day commemoration. The initiative, under the Renewed Hope Initiative, aims to foster inclusive societies and boost economic progress for persons with disabilities.
The program, represented by the Ogun State First Lady, aligns with the national agenda for shared prosperity. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, promising to use the funds wisely to develop their enterprises. Efforts are also underway to improve welfare for persons with disabilities through policy changes and interpreter mandates.
