Nineteen-year-old Samuel Adeniyi has received over N8 million in donations and a full university scholarship after a viral video showed him selling plastic waste to buy tiling tools. Samuel, who learned the trade at 17, told content creator Bayuztv, “I need money to buy my work tool.” His dedication to the craft moved thousands of Nigerians to contribute.
The intervention extended to Samuel’s mother, who received N1 million and extensive groceries to restart her business. Overwhelmed by the N8 million total and education grant, the family celebrated their transformation from poverty.
